Carving a dusty path through noise concrète furrows and warped country loops, in a nowhere place between Dilloway and Van Zandt, where the land has been worked hard and its denizens worked harder, is a town called Human Condition.

This is a place where thought is a stolen commodity; a second-hand gesture discouraged by bureaucracy and decamped between sleeping ruins crumbling across the horizon. An ageless settlement where cowboys and cowgirls are tethered to the systemic praise and whip of whirring machines. Where the slow spirals of grinding cogs loop in and out of time, both between and of the mind - where the way in, is also the only way out.

Human Condition is a metaphorical post-western one-horse town and a loose exploration of Hannah Arendt's political theory text 'The Human Condition', in the form of a 5-track, 44-minute album that uses manipulated and processed loops to cycle in between active and contemplative life.
