Plays with references to the discography of Heavy Cloud and its intertexts, trains of thoughts on chronic pain, ambient music and mental health, seasons and nature, crowds and the individual. By way of Huerco S., Agustín Fernández Mallo, Oneohtrix Point Never, Oulipo techniques and language deconstruction, mental maths and different ways of seeing.
Comfort in Sound: Of Albums, Algebra and Other Pains is a 44-page saddle-stitched A5 pamphlet. This limited edition (numbered by hand) marks the second release for Heavy Cloud Press in 2022.
